Stuck On Those Stinkin' Ornaments!

If any of you have been watching the weather channel today you have become familiar with the location of Salina, Kansas...I have heard that they are talking about our ice storm...so what does that mean for me...

I am in the house ALONE today...and with the ice...I won't be tempted to wonder to the mall anytime soon. Of course, a little ice didn't stop the husband from heading out to try to find the elusive "BIG Buck" that he shot yesterday but lost while trying to track him. A little ice can't keep a man from the wild! Even when the "wild" is 60 miles away!

This is another of those fabulous clear ornaments from hobby lobby. I love the shape of this one and it is really flat!
I took acetate and stamped on it and then rolled it up and let it go inside of the ornament. The openings on the ornaments are a little small so it is a little tricky. I am sure you have not seen the last of the "ornaments" as I have other ideas to try.

Stamps: Autumn Leaves and Spunky Stamps

Wednesday, September 26

Oh My....

I seem to be having technical difficulties...I kept trying to log in to do a new post and nothing would happen...finally went to someone else's blog and hit the sign in button...along with my info and waaalaaa....here I am---Boy was that frustrating :)

This is a very simple little card that was made with another one of those $1 Mike's stamps and my Autumn Leaves set...I really like this one...the photo could be better but I like the card!

Blessings:
1. Having a friend who can send just the right video clip to make me think, be thankful and insipre me.

2. Knowing that I have a daughter that has been raised strong in faith.
3. Being blessed with a strong ability to work well when "in crisis".
4. AWESOME parent -teacher conferences today! The teachers say my kiddo is "normal"...YIPPEEE!

Inexpensive!

I was going to title this "post cheap stamps" but that could produce a negative reaction so inexpensive sounds better! This card was made with a set of Autumn Leaves Stamps I purchased at Hobby Lobby for 50% off and a $1 Michael's stamp...plus a little card stock...does that make it a cheap card...ok not really...not until I use the stamps to make about 20 more cards--that I actually use as cards and send to people. But the cool thing is I have used the background stamp on many things-- it is very versatile and the "celebrate" could easily be incorporated into scrap pages.

Inspired...

I am so excited to share this one! I LOVE this and I can finally show it to you all. I had to wait as it was a gift for girlfriend Awna for being such an AWESOME inspiration in my life! Little did I know when I sent it, that her son Logan would get so excited over the bubble wrap and 2 priorty boxes (yes 2...I am challenged by the postal system). I am so glad I made his day. When I made this, I was inspired by the pieces at the gift stores that I have seen much like this ...so I thought I could just make one and it turned out great!

Speaking of Inspired...I noticed that The Angel Company has a new blog TAC Simply Inspired. What insipres me is the fabulous woman who is doing the writing, Debbie. If you are ever at a TAC function and get the opportunity you must meet this amazing woman!! I really enjoyed the time that I was able to spend working with her and I am extremely excited to see that she will be sharing her wisdom and insights with the world. I have linked to the blog in my "favorite blog stops" section so make sure you check it out!
