Rubbah Gone Wild!!

I am completely convinced now that this hobby is an addiction! Place an ad in the paper that you are selling 150 stamp sets at your garage sale and people come out of the woodwork!!! I had someone show up on my doorstep....4 days early...I don't think the ink was even dry in the newspaper!! This is a card that I made for the Elzybell's Challenge. Here is the link to the blog...on the sidebar there is a link to Sketch 3 card cghallenge...you will find more amazing stuff!!

Moments....

Sam was so nervous as she was going to get her hair cut short...so I took the camera.....Now...she did end up getting SEVERAL inches taken off if you can believe it...All that worry for nothing. Of course...I didnt take the camera when we went to get it highlighted...she looked like the tin man's dream girl that day and I missed the photo :(

Fun with the Elzybell's

Ok this is one of the cutest images!! It is just one of the fabulous Elzybell's images that I have to show off to you!!! I seem to have lost a little stamping mojo the last couple of weeks and I need to get it back....this is a start...it is very simple but I like it. I think my creative juices have been focusing on locker decorations of all things. I didn't know by signing up that I was entering into this great competition amongst the parents....OMG! talk about so "high school"...it is insane...do people not have anything better to do than worry about locker decorations for their kids?? Welcome Weather....

I can only hope that it stays this way...but I doubt it...it was NICE and cool and breezy here today in Kansas...cloudy...just the way I like it!!! It was a welcome relief from the past few days of heat and humidity. Why is it that sooo much happens at once? School sports start this week and we are decorating lockers and putting up posters for the kids (small school not enough cheerleaders to do it all) and then the first game of the season...volleyball and football!!!! Yippeee (as long as it is this cool)! This would have been AWESOME football weather today. Plus I have new Elzy's I want to use and I want to get more "hybrid" projects done to show off some more SugarPlum stuff. Darn job gets in the way of ALL the FUN!! Looks like I am going to have to set some goals for the weekend :) Project Supplies: SuagrPlum Mango Tango Paper SU Stamps and HOTP

Happy News!!

I am so excited to share that I made a new design team!! It is the "hybrid" team for SugarPlum Paperie. The designs are absolutely beautiful and this is going to be a good challenge for me! The hybrid team specializes in taking digital scrapbooking elements and using them for things other than scrapbooking such as cardmaking and altered items and projects. This particular kit is called Twitter Blossom. I printed all my pieces out on card stock and cut them out...the font, the bird abd the patterned papers. I couldn't just go cold turkey on the stamps....the stitching is my stamp set from Hot Off The Press and the little flowers were punched with my SU! flower punch...oh and I just received my SU! edge scallop punch tonight...can you say IN LOVE!!!

Funny Girl

So last night I had the camera out for just a moment..snapped a few pics of Sam in a funny moment and of course had to stay up late to put this digi page together. I really LOVE this page...and have decided what I am going to do with all the digital layouts I am doing but...it's a secret and I am not ready to tell yet.
All of these great digital supplies are from SugarPlum Paperie (Lime Twist, Sugar Princess, and SugarPlum Grapefruit Kits).

A little Elzy!

I love the little sentiment on this one...always appropriate in an office setting!! This was a little quickie- I had previously had the white cardstockcutout and it had been kaying around on my table begging to be used...so I stamped on it and "dressed her up" with some paper from Sugarplum Paperie's Mango Tango...which in a way makes her a "hybrid" as well. More to come on the "hybrid" thing on another post.

The Future...

Happy Weekend everyone...Hope it is going well for everyone!! Been spending a little time this weekend working on some things. I have completed a couple of digital layouts and a couple of "hybrid" cards. I'll explain that "hybrid" thing when I post them later. I have been spending some time in the digi world and it is just amazing the "stuff" that is out there...I find it very interesting that everything on scrapbook layouts seem to be stuffed in a corner and layered on top of each other. That may take a few tries to get used to. There were some layouts that I have recently seen that you have to literally search for the picture (which in the olden days was to be the focal point)....I am thinking that kids would love these layouts when used like an "I Spy" book cause then they can spy themselves. How cool would that be for your little one! Digital Supplies: SugarPlum Paperie and Shabby Princess(stitches only) Font: CK
