PaperTrey Ink Anniversary Day 1....

Today is all about inspiration! I woke up very early this morning...way too early for me on a Sunday! But it gave me some extra time to check out the PTI blog and see what was going on over there. It is the 5th anniversary of PTI and this morning the post was about the design team members and their top 5 favorite PTI products.
The challenge was to choose one of the cards posted as inspiration.
Now I do have to throw out a tad bit of a disclaimer. Dawn McVey is completely my favorite blogger. Love her cards and I am even more in LOVE with Windsor the laborador! But this morning, Maile Belles inspired me! I love this card when it was posted the first time!!

Since I was up SO early, I was able to make 2 cards BEFORE I even headed to church today, lol. That's a big deal for this gal!
Here is my take on the inspiration card, I made three cards all together.

I used one peice of 4.25 x 5.5 piece of white cardstcok and stamped the argyle out in a rainbow of colors. I then cut it once to make my two pieces.

BUTTONS! You don't see me use them much but today...there are a LOAD of them in my  post. I used Glossy Accents to glue them on.

The third card below was a little scrap that I had trimmed off of one of my pieces. Perfect for one last card.

Since I had to take a little snooze this afternoon....because I was up so early, it took me a bit to get this posted. I hope everyone enjoys the Super Bowl.

Supplies:
Stamps: All PTI
Colors: Ballet Blue, Lucky Limeade, Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz, Violet, Kraft and Chocolate Chip
Misc: Buttons, Twine, Woodgrain IP
