Pine Layering Stencil Cards

Hello Friends!!  I am up on the Erin Lee Creative Blog today with a couple of card ideas using the new Layered Pine Stencil. This stencil has so many fun possibilities.

The first card I created starts off with a blue cardstock panel. I stenciled the solid tree image onto the blue cardstock with white pigment ink. For additional texture and shine, I applied clear embossing powder while the ink was wet.

After that, I took the second tree stencil and applied silver glitter gel paste onto the white tree.

Once that was dry, I matted the tree image onto a piece of Holographic Cardstock.

I added a little silver embroidery floss for interest under the stamped sentiment. To finish, I added the completed tree piece to a white card base.

Card #2 again features the Layered Pine Stencil but I only used the full tree image. I stenciled the tree into white cardstock with black glitter gel paste and set aside to dry.

While the glitter paste was drying, I used the Aztec Diamond Stencil and applied it to a red cardstock panel with black ink.

Once the tree was dry, I stamped the Warm Wishes sentiment, From the  Holiday Blue Jay stamp set in a coordinating red ink.

I used a fine tip poking tool to poke holes along the side of the Christmas tree, then used gold embroidery floss to string gold beads on for garland. Once the garland was complete I mounted the tree panel to Gold Holographic Cardstock and mounted onto my black and red stenciled panel. To wrap it up, the complete tree piece was added to a white card base.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Until the next time, Happy Stamping and Cardmaking!

Eva
