Time to.....

Stamp S'More stuff! This is my last piece of completed new art that I have to share. I've been under the weather for a few days that have stretched into a few weeks--and I just haven't been stamping. But....I have a bunch of new stamps calling my name on my desk and a free weekend...so in between naps I hope to get something accomplished.

Cool Thoughts....

It's been hot and humid and just down right yucky here in Kansas lately...so as I made this one I thought "cool"....cool fall days....cold winter days when I can stay home and stamp....ahhhh....Kansas! I heard someone who recently moved here from Florida say how miserable the weather is...and they have only been here a few months---just wait till they see our winter :)

I look like a coon again.....

So we spent the weekend at the softball field. The team played well....wish I could say the same for the umpire calls...anyway.....my hubby says I have to let it go now...so I will---now that I have expressed my view with the rest of the world. I really had good intentions of putting sunscreen on my face yesterday but I forgot--again---so I have coon eyes---again. Maybe next weekend I'll remember.

I like the colors of this card. The sand dollar is from Stamp Lajolla stamps and I used colored sand that I found. The paper is KandCompany with a little pretty in pink for accent.

Baby's Got.....

The Bat!! Love these sports Hula Bunnies....Sam loved this one....geeze and I can even see a resemblence in the face between Sam and this bunny....I think it is better known as "attitude". So I am doing a few cards here and there for Stamp Lajolla....of course, Awna rocks these bunnies...but I thought I would give 'em a whirl and see what I could do....This one turned out a little more girly---humm I wonder why?

I am completely motivated and inspired by stamps that have to do with things that my daughter likes to do...cause then she likes the end result too. Now all we need is jetski hula's, volleyball hula's, cheerleading hula's, fishing hula and for me a margarita drinkin' hula!!

Holy Moly!!!

Finally---I am back in business....three trips to the computer shop and I think we have 'er going again. Sometimes in an effort to do the right thing....we make large errors. It seems as though lack of patience got me again. The other night when it was lightening-- I thought "self shut the computer down so you don't loose everything in this storm" well...self listened but had other things to do and got a little antsy and just did a "hard power down" when I couldn't get the "shut down" button on the tool bar to work. Apparently, when that happens...there is a good chance that your computer is talking to itself and taking notes on things--shall we call it "mental health" time for your computer...we'll ---I seemed to have interrupted that process ...so the notes weren't taken correctly and stopped too soon...screwing up the whole system....and I thought that I was the only one who could get screwed up if I didnt take notes and was interrupted :)
