Heart Art...

And that this is! Art from the heart tonight. I had to do something while I wait in anxiety for the morning to come. Tomorrow morning is the turning of a page at our house. It will be the first time in 10 years I have not taken my daughter to school on the first day. For her, it is very exciting as it is the first day she gets to drive herself to school. I am so glad that there were not many days that I missed taking her last year. I truly learned how (cause trust me there is an art to taking your teeanger anywhere in the morning...happily) to get her to the bus and enjoy our time as we did it. Some mornings were best to be very quiet and some where full of smiles, singing and laughter. There were those mornings that started out with a whole load of "grumpy" attached...some mornings I had the tears and some mornings she had the tears BUT it always worked out fine in the long run. So tomorrow we find a new way to start our mornings, I will have to find a new way to steal a few minutes of my beautiful girls time before she heads off to fill her days with education, friends and fun. I fear this means I will have to be up earlier...but that is ok...somethings are just worth it!
This card is a challenge card done for Ted's Happily Ever Challenge #9. I really enjoyed coloring these paint brushes...and LOVED the simplicity required in this challenge!

This is so cute! I love those paintbrushes all colored up that way! What cracks me up about this is that you, Amy & I all used a black outline around our cards for this SAME challenge! Great minds think alike...LOL!

Eva, I love the coloring of the brushes and the simple two-lined box. Very nice! I also enjoyed the story of the new chapter in your life. Good memories are often hard to come by! :) Thanks for playing along with my HEC!
