Good News and Cute Critters....

Just 2 days left before the next big Elzybell's release countdown/sneak peeks begin...

the fun begins on February 20th...

It will be SO SWEEEETTTT! In the meantime...

I haven't shown anything done with these two in a while. I also have another Hopper stashed away that I have never ever used...or maybe two or three of them. I can't forget about these cute, cuddly looking little creatures...they are so adorable! And look...I finally used a piece of hardware that I have had for YEARS...I tend to only put that stuff on the cards I know people will keep...and this one went to my mom..who keeps EVERYTHING I make.

Ahh...The Good Life!

This image just reminds me of the peace and calm that I get when floating in water on a warm summer day..."the good life" feeling. I also was reminded of the "good life" feeling this week when a friend gave me some old pictures from 10-12 years ago. My how everything in life changes (everything except for my sweat pants and sweat shirts that is!). And as I took some time to look back at the pictures and think of the memories, the line from the Garth Brooks song that says... "sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers" came to mind. You see even though I have some good memories from those times, I look back and remember some of the things that I wished, hoped and prayed for and I thank the Lord above that he knew better....because had he answered those prayers....I wouldn't have the GREAT LIFE I have now....Thank You GOD!

This is one of the cards that I made when Awna and I were doing challenges the other day from SplitCoast Stampers. It was a sketch challenge and I really like the layout and the way this turned out. Of course, it does help that it has my fovorite color, Brown, in it!! After I took the photo I noticed a part was crooked..so yes..it has been fixed...

Valentine for Mom!!

My mother is in love with rabbits...so for this valentines day I made her this card....and I am planning on putting pictures in that little book below that I made....and if I get really lucky and have time...I will arrange some flowers in this cute little bowl that I found (sine I now know how to do it). With all the extra hours of work this week this will probably be it for me until next weekend! Happy Heart Day to all!!!

Be Mine

Well today was my first day doing temp work for a store that has a floral department ...I thought it would be FUN to work in the floral department for Valentines day. The gals are a hoot...funny funny, funny! And I do have to say that designing floral arrangements is neat. Understand I normally have a hard time getting one single stem flower to look good in a vase...but I now understand the reason for all the greenery and the fillers!! It was cool to do something that turns out with beautiful colors when your done...and the really cool thing is that God did all of the work coloring the flowers and I didn't even have to lift a colored pencil!!

Oh Hopper....I Love You!

I just thought I was in love with the mouse....and now I have fallen for Hopper the Bunny as well! The really cool thing about Hopper is...my mom is a rabbit fanatic...so as I sit and color these precious little bunnies I find myself thinking about how much my mom would LOVE it...and as we all know when ever we are doing something that mom would just LOVE our hearts are happy! This is my first Bind It All Project. Not really sure what it is except for a book with pages on the inside...I'll figure that out later..right now it just looks like a good valentine for mom :)

For a sick gal---I sure have been able to pump a few projects out the last few evenings. Some I can show and some I can't but this is that promised house mouse that I have been telling ya about.
