Oh Baby...look at that background....

Coming to you today with another card that I absolutely love.
I saw a stamp a few months back that said something like...I love this card so much your are lucky I sent it to you. This is that card for me...right now. I may keep it forever, LOL.
The background and die are both from Erin Lee Creative. I used Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder with the background stamp and it looks gorgeous!!
Have a super day!

Hello Deer

I have adored the deer dies for a very long time. I am not sure what has taken me so long to purchase a deer die, after all, anything the hubs would like should be an immediate purchase.
I found this Deer Die at Scrapbooks Etc...in Topeka, Ks while I was there a few weeks ago.
I have been going there for years and no matter how long between visits, they remember me. I LOVE that place!

The die is an Amy Designs Die, which was new to me...but sometimes I am a little late to the party. I also used the Patterned Triangles stamp from MFT and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a super day!

Newton's Nook #16 Christmas

Obsession?? No not me never!! LOL, those who know me well, know that is not exactly true.
However, in my defensive when it comes to the Holiday Hound set, I do have a co-worker that loves the little weiner dog and she requested some hand made Christmas cards to send to friends and family.Lucky for my blog readers, I made them all different :).
I'm entering this little guy (or gal) into the inky paws Christmas Challenge. Click on the picture to head over to the gallery.
The blue and white piece was cut first with my Lil'Inkers stitched die. I then cut the snow drifts using my Lawn Fawn stitched border dies and layered them.
The Christmas trees are a little make shift---triangles from PTI.
The music stamped on the background was done in Wild Wasabi and the stamp is from Hero Arts. I added a few little sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and some green and white twine from The Twinery for accent.

I'll be back with what will most likely be my last Holiday Hounds card tomorrow. Then I'm headed to snowmen for a while :)
Have a fabulous day!

Hello Cupcake...

I was looking around on Instagram the other day and a friend had pulled out this old Hero Arts Cupcake stamp set. I felt a little inspired and took the set out and played for a little bit.
I had just received my new handy dandy stripes set from MFT and this was a perfect opportunity to pull out my new die and stamp set from PTI for the sentiment.
Below you will see a close up of my cupcake. I used Liquid Pearls White Opal for the icing to make it look YUMMY!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS day!

Thinking of You ...

Woohoo, A post! With a card!
I have been able to spend just a little time in my stamp room recently.
Time is limited due to home improvement projects that need to be complete and weekends filled with softball. The first card is new and the second is a retake of a card I previously posted.
The card above was actually made using the PTI Blog Hop Challenge last month. Loved the color combo on the inspiration piece. Black and Lucky Limeade! Stamps are from PTI.
Again, this is a repost, this picture just looks so much better than the first one that was taken in the midst of the move. I think this is a GORGEOUS card! One of my all time favorites that I have made. The satmps used on this card are Hero Arts and Stampin'Up for the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping and God Bless!

Thinking of You....

Here is one of the cards that I made at our last Craft Day at the church, in February.
I LOVE the pop of green against the orange.
I think this has to be one of my all-time favorites. It is such a warm card!
Moving is done, selling still happening, and unpacking will be going on for along time along side of remodel projects....forever it will take, lol.
Trying to get my stamp room "workable" as it will be the last room to get a remodel, so it is just going to have to be functional for awhile :)
Stamp Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts, SU! and PTI
Other: CLear embossig powder, pearls, embossing folder, graduated shades of orange and sponges.

Pillow Boxes...

I fell in love with pillow boxes years ago..so when the sizzix die came out, I, of course, just had to have one! Like many of the other things I just "hafta have" the die has been so under loved.
Next, I decided to go clear...and what better to do that with than my left over PTI stamp boxes that the stamps come in. One side of a box makes one pillow box!!!
I also pulled out my Hero Arts stamps...and can you see the detail in one of those little creations??
I decided to try in impression plate on the plastic...worked out pretty cool! These are just too cute!

Sprinkle Filled Day...

It has been a day filled with Sprinkles here in Kansas. Unfortunately, it has not been cupcake sprinkles but snowflakes sprinkles-- again :( I guess on the positive side snowflakes are less fattening!
This is another card done using the card sketch from the Clean and Simple blog. The cupcake is from Hero Arts.

Warm Wishes to You...

This is one of the cards that I made when Awna and I were doing challenges the other day from SplitCoast Stampers. It was a sketch challenge and I really like the layout and the way this turned out. Of course, it does help that it has my fovorite color, Brown, in it!! After I took the photo I noticed a part was crooked..so yes..it has been fixed...

Stamps: House Mouse and Hero Arts

Paper: SEI Scrapworks

Colored Pencils, CuddleBug, SU Punch(flowers), Misc Brads

Today Awna and I have spent the day over at SplitCoast Stampers doing challenges all day...ok Awna spent more time than I did as my family kept interupting!! It was great fun!!..So might I suggest the next time you get a let...well....in a stamping funk...grab a friend...turn on the instant messanger and head of the to the challenges on SplitCoast. It has been one of the most fine times I have had stamping in years!

This was made with my new Frames and Messages set from Hero Arts and One of A Kind from SU! The colors are Pumkin Orange, Taken with Teal and Pomegranate. The background piece is made using a retired wide line stamp from TAC.
TIP: Ever notice that sometimes ink beads up on clear stamps (and other bold stamps) and the ink doesn't appear even when stamped...but blotchy. Well it just might be the paper. Today this was happening to me and I took a piece of white glossy stock... turned it over onto the non-glossy side and stamped...it was amazing! Clean and crisp image.
