Groovy Stuff....Peace, Love and Happiness

Good Day Friends!
I decided I wanted to do a recap of some of my favorite cards that I recently made using the  Peace, Love and Happiness kit from Erin Lee Creative.

On this first card, I stenciled and then flipped the stencil to the other end and stenciled over it again.
Looks like a bunch of streamers. This is my favorite card that I made from this release.
OK well, maybe the next card is my favorite card from this release, LOL. Again I stenciled, the shifted the stencil and used black Nuvo Shimmer Paste.
Wowzers, I love the result!!
The VW image reminds me of Scooby Doo. One of my all time favorite cartoons.
It's been awhile, my Splitcoast gallery will show that YEARS ago, I stitched on paper. I pulled the machine out and went to stitching.
And finally, can't forget the alcohol inks. They must always make an appearance!
This was done on glossy black cardstock. I started by adding a layer of gold on the cardstock and built up colors from there.
Have a wonderful day!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #498

Hello Friends!

Today I am featuring a card that I created for another fun challenge site that I found called               Cupcake Inspirations. And look at the inspiration for this challenge....
Now I will say, blue and yellow are not go to colors for me, lol. There are no cupcakes required for these challenges, which is a good thing because I realized that I do not have one single cupcake in my stash {{GASP}}, I need to fix that ASAP!
So I said "self, find a birthday image and go for it" because cupcakes make me think of birthdays.
I ended up using this cute little bunny image from MFT Stamp Set called Birthday Buds for this card. So many adorable images. Also used the Jumbled Number background stamp on this card.
 Thank you for stopping by!

Maxi White Space + Floral Twist Challenge

I was scrolling through IG last week and found a new challenge to participate in. AAA Card Challenges has a CAS card challenge each week. I tend to overthink things and make them too hard so this is just what I need!

I found the challenge to be very relaxing! Which is good because sometimes I stress when I make a cards...not good :(.
On this first card, I used a set of boarder dies to emboss the card front.
The sentiment and small flower are from My Favorite Things Stamps. Add just a few shaded of color on the flower with my Copics and DONE!!

This second card features embossing on the card front with a Small Brick Wall stencil from  My Favorite Things.
I then used the same stamps for this card.

I found that I wanted to keep making these simple cards with the same two stamps BUT I stopped and moved on to other projects. It was definitely a breathe of fresh air to make these.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting My Friends!

Thank You

I love all of the rainbow cards we are seeing.
I decided to use all of the sentiments in this MFT set in one card.
I used copic markers to color the strips, then stamped the sentiments on.
Thank you for looking!

A Rainbow Hello

Howdy. We finally saw sunshine here in Kansas yesterday but today we have more rain in the forecast. I thought I'd post a little handmade rainbow happiness in protest of more rain :).
The HELLO die cut (Lawn Fawn) turned out as it did when I accidently chopped off the triangle part of the speech bubble...OOPS!
Have a super day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Has Sprung!

Happy Tuesday! It's going to be a pretty day in Kansas...I am going to be inside for most of it {super sad face}. This little card makes me think of the joy in hearing the sounds of spring first thing in the morning as I wake up.
The birds are certainly excited that Spring has sprung!
Have a wonderful day!

Hello Purple Rose

I am posting one last card (for now) using this beautiful Sketch Floral background stamp from Erin Lee Creative .
This time I used some Copic markers to color in just the one large open rose image.

Time to.....

Stamp S'More stuff! This is my last piece of completed new art that I have to share. I've been under the weather for a few days that have stretched into a few weeks--and I just haven't been stamping. But....I have a bunch of new stamps calling my name on my desk and a free weekend...so in between naps I hope to get something accomplished.

I mentioned in a past post that I would be doing a little work here and there for some different companies that I have not worked with before. Here is one happy frog from Sparkle and Sprinkle ...anyone every felt like this before??? I know I did a few times in my younger years and on somedays....I wish I was partaking in an olive or two....oh...but I am sure that is just supposed to be water in that glass :).

Birthday Blessings

I was pretty proud of how the coloring turned out on this one...I used the copics...mostly all copics...and I even accompished some shading...WOOOHOOO!
This little fella went out a couple of days ago to wish my Daddy a happy birthday...he is the best guy in the whole world!

Little Bunny FooFoo

This was something a little different for me....of course, I am technically challenged when it comes to techniques...I am a "straight up and down stamper"...ink, paper, stamp it and color...anything beyond that usually needs to stay with other's who have a deeper understanding of mixed media and techniques...
I just happened to run across a blog that showed how to stamp an image going the other direction...and to think this was my second try...I was impressed BUT I also have learned in life when to leave things alone and walk away...so I will be happy with the results and put it in the archives to hopefully insipre someone else---before I ruin it :)

Celebrating

So I really did have a bunch of images colored sitting on my desk...just begging to be made into cards. This little girl is one of them. I colored this with copics and colored pencils. The closure is a bit different--the yellow piece pops underneath the image. The image is attached to the front of the card with pop dots to leave space for the yellow piece to slide under...make any sense?

Holy Jumpin' Jelly Beans!

Copic Markers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know you have a friend who really likes you when they surprise you with a box that includes about 20 Copic Markers! My dear friend Awna...what a friend and an enabler she is...I LOVE her! I had never used them before and WOWZA! I am going to be so broke....need part-time job that pays $$$ to buy more. This little bunny is an oldie from TAC but you can find some very similar at the Sparkle and Sprinkle Store. They are so cute! The paper is from KI Memories. I did use colored pencils to shade the markers and for colors I don't yet have-hehe...we will see how long that lasts!
