It's Going to Be OK

Howdy!! Hope you are doing well today.
I have a very simple card to share today.
I used the Protea Background Stamp from Erin Lee Creative for both the larger white grey stamped piece and the middle piece stamped in pink.
I layered everything up to build the card and what you can't see....is the Prisma glitter inside those pink stamped images. It gives it such a brilliant, sparkly shimmer.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Groovy Stuff....Peace, Love and Happiness

Good Day Friends!
I decided I wanted to do a recap of some of my favorite cards that I recently made using the  Peace, Love and Happiness kit from Erin Lee Creative.

On this first card, I stenciled and then flipped the stencil to the other end and stenciled over it again.
Looks like a bunch of streamers. This is my favorite card that I made from this release.
OK well, maybe the next card is my favorite card from this release, LOL. Again I stenciled, the shifted the stencil and used black Nuvo Shimmer Paste.
Wowzers, I love the result!!
The VW image reminds me of Scooby Doo. One of my all time favorite cartoons.
It's been awhile, my Splitcoast gallery will show that YEARS ago, I stitched on paper. I pulled the machine out and went to stitching.
And finally, can't forget the alcohol inks. They must always make an appearance!
This was done on glossy black cardstock. I started by adding a layer of gold on the cardstock and built up colors from there.
Have a wonderful day!

Huge Hugs

Anyone need a HUGE Hug  from someone you haven't seen in awhile?
I know I have a few friends I wish I could see and hug!
This is my last card featuring the technique used in this video by Jennifer McGuire.

On this one I used this wonderful Herringbone background stamp from Concord and 9th. Love that stamp!! The die is from My Favorite Things.
I dry embossed the paper before die cutting with the Broken Chevron Stencil from Altenew.

Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!

Groovy Birthday

Hello!!! Today, I am bringing you a groovy birthday greeting.
The background stamp is from Erin Lee Creative. I used the technique featured here in Jennifer McGuire's video to create his shimmery watercolor effect.
I topped it with a Happy Birthday die cut from Simon Says Stay, CZ Designs.

Holding You in My Prayers

Hello Again.

Today I am sharing a card made with a gorgeous stamp from Taylored Expressions.
I first used alcohol ink on the paper to created the colored background. Once dry, I used my Xstatic bad and then stamped the floral image with Versamark ink. I used white embossing powder to make the image standout against the alcohol ink.

I finished the card off with some gold jewels and a sentiment.
That you for stopping by!

Paper Crafters Unite Against Racism

Ever feel like you just don't know what to do? How to help others feel supported?

I'll be honest and thus lean into being vulnerable. I live in central, almost rural, Kansas. I have always said that I am not racist, but honestly I have never known the term anti-racist until now.  I can guarantee that I have made mistakes, said and done the wrong things and been seemingly non-supportive as I lived like an ostrich with my head in the sand.
My promise is to learn and find ways to do better and to be more supportive to People of Color. Although this is blog hop is a very, very small gesture, I feel it is a start.
A small one but a start in the right direction.
I support YOU and stand with YOU !
Here is my piece of creative to add to this hop.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!
Your next stop on the blog hop is here:
Enjoy the HOP!

Smiles to You

I'm coming at you with another card using this absolutely amazing stamp from Erin Lee Creative.
In case you haven't noticed I just LOVE this stamp!
This is as close to an Easter card as I will be making...it's really only Easter-ish in color, so maybe that makes it Spring-ish???
Thank you for stopping by the ole' blog today!
Have a super day!

Oh Baby...look at that background....

Coming to you today with another card that I absolutely love.
I saw a stamp a few months back that said something like...I love this card so much your are lucky I sent it to you. This is that card for me...right now. I may keep it forever, LOL.
The background and die are both from Erin Lee Creative. I used Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder with the background stamp and it looks gorgeous!!
